BOOK YOUR COURSE TODAYAt Blue Label Diving we teach the SSI Wreck courses and the TDI Advanced Wreck course.
BOOK YOUR COURSE TODAYWreck diving is recreational diving where the wreckage of ships, aircraft and other artificial structures are explored. Although most wreck dive sites are at shipwrecks, there is an increasing trend to scuttle retired ships to create artificial reef sites. Diving to crashed aircraft can also be considered wreck diving. The recreation of wreck diving makes no distinction as to how the vessel ended up on the bottom.
Some wreck diving involves penetration of the wreckage, making a direct ascent to the surface impossible for a part of the dive.
Phuket has a few wreck which we can dive. 2 larger ones, one at Phi Phi and the King Cruiser close to Phuket. Racha Yai has a smaller wreck but perfect for training and Racha Noi has a wreck which is the same sort of size.
The TDI Advanced Wreck Diving manual covers all the most commonly used wreck diving techniques in cold and warm water. The manual also covers team diving techniques and preservation of wrecks.
