TDI CAVERN
The TDI CAVERN COURSE available in Phuket Thailand and conducted in Song Hong in Nakhon Provence, is designed to develop the minimum skills and knowledge for cavern and overhead environment diving within the limits of light penetration; in addition outlines specific hazards associated with cave diving.
The TDI Cavern Diver course offers the certified diver a first glimpse into the truly amazing and beautiful world of underwater caves. As the first of four three toward the Full Cave Diver certification, this course allows the diver to explore that part of the cave system within the daylight zone.
The TDI Cavern Diver Course in not intended to provide instruction for cave diving environments. The aim of this course is to train divers in the proper planning, procedures, techniques and hazards of cavern diving.
Blue Label Diving, due to logistics and distance to the lake, does not teach the cavern course on its own. The cavern course is conducted over 2 days and with the drive down to the location we need a minimum of 4 days / 3 nights. You could for example do the Cavern course and the TDI advanced nitrox course at the lake. This would be a total of 5 days. Or you do the cavern and intro together in 4 days.
Although not a requirement of the agency, if you do not have experience on a twinset or as a sidemount diver, Blue Label requires you to do the intro to tec course or sidemount course beforehand. All of our cave courses are taught on a min of 2 scuba cylinders.
