TDI ADVANCED WRECK
This TDI Advanced Wreck Course available in Phuket Thailand, provides training and experience to competently conduct advanced wreck dives. This program includes penetration skills and techniques. We run the course slightly longer as we don’t have designated wreck boat diving here in phuket. As you need 6 wreck dives, we need to spread the course out over 7 days. Each diving day is 1 wreck dive + 1 or 2 training other dives from the boats here.
Depths shall not exceed the level in which the diver is trained and competent, but in no case shall the maximum depth in this program exceed 180 fsw/55 msw.
The advanced wreck course is commonly taught with other popular TDI course such as advanced nitrox, decompression procedures, extended range, closed circuit rebreather, and trimix. The course covers topics and skills like:
- Use of guidelines
- Overhead emergency procedures
- Redundant equipment requirements
- Locating and identifying wrecks
- Hazards of wreck diving
- Surveying of wrecks
The TDI Advanced Wreck Diving manual covers all the most commonly used wreck diving techniques in cold and warm water. The manual also covers team diving techniques and preservation of wrecks.
This course is different from any Agency Specialty Wreck diver. This course allows you to actually penetrate wrecks down to the machine rooms of many exciting Deep Sea Wrecks all over the world.
REBREATHER: The TDI Advanced Wreck course can be done on CCR.
